1. Agreement to Terms & Booking Confirmation

By booking a Kashmir tour package, houseboat stay, or transport service with Travel Arc (Ministry of Tourism Reg: EJK000081, JKTA Reg: JKTA00002967), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Booking Confirmation: A reservation is deemed officially confirmed only upon receipt of the designated advance deposit and subsequent issuance of an official Travel Arc Booking Voucher.
Accuracy of Details: Travelers are responsible for ensuring that names, dates, passenger counts, and contact details provided at the time of booking match valid government IDs.

2. Pricing, Tariffs & Price Guarantee

Currency: All tour package prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable taxes, toll charges, driver allowances, and parking fees unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Price Lock Guarantee: Once an advance deposit is received and your confirmation voucher is issued, your package tariff is locked and protected against subsequent seasonal price hikes.
Excluded Items: Personal expenses (laundry, room service, optional horse/pony rides, local snow sledges, ATV rides, and non-included entrance fees) remain the responsibility of the traveler.

3. Payment Schedules

To maintain secured hotel holds, dedicated vehicles, and houseboat reservations across Jammu & Kashmir, payments must adhere to the following schedule:

Payment methods accepted include UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards, and Partner EMI facilities.

4. Itinerary Modifications & Date Changes

We understand that flights or personal schedules may change:

Advance Rescheduling: Date modification requests submitted 15 or more days prior to arrival are accommodated free of administrative charges, subject to hotel and vehicle availability.
Seasonal Tariff Differences: If dates are shifted from off-peak to peak seasons (e.g. Tulip Festival or winter snow season), any applicable difference in hotel tariffs will apply.
On-Tour Customization: Route adjustments requested while on tour will be facilitated by your tour coordinator where operationally feasible, subject to fuel and driver timing considerations.

5. Travel Documentation & Regional Advisories

Valid ID Requirements: All domestic travelers must carry original government-issued photo IDs (Aadhaar, Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID). Foreign nationals must carry valid Passports and Indian Visas.
High-Altitude & Border Permits: Where visits to restricted border zones (e.g. Gurez or Ladakh) are included, Travel Arc facilitates permit processing based on documents submitted in advance.
Luggage & Personal Belongings: Travelers are responsible for their personal belongings, valuables, and photographic equipment during transfers and sightseeing.

6. Liability, Mountain Weather & Force Majeure

Jammu & Kashmir is a high-altitude Himalayan region with unique terrain:

Weather Disruptions: Travel Arc is not liable for itinerary disruptions resulting from natural occurrences, including snowfall blocking mountain passes (e.g. Zojila or Sinthan Top), unexpected landslides on National Highway 44, or flight diversions at Srinagar Airport.
Alternative Arrangements: In the event of road blockages, our 24/7 Srinagar operations desk will arrange equivalent alternative routing or substitute sightseeing where possible.
Travel Insurance Recommendation: We strongly recommend all travelers obtain comprehensive domestic travel insurance covering flight cancellations, medical emergencies, and baggage delay.

7. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

Any disputes, claims, or legal controversies arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India.
